I have been working as a counsellor, in a variety of settings, for the past 6+ years, supporting individuals through all kinds of challenges—such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, addiction, terminal illness, among others.

The more people I’ve worked with, the more I’ve come to believe that life’s obstacles aren’t just roadblocks—they are opportunities for growth. Yet, true growth begins only when we stop avoiding our emotional pain and start facing it. “Let’s not talk about how Dad died, okay?… Don’t ever remind me that it happened…’ Sounds familiar?

If instead, we find the courage to face and understand our emotional pain, not only do we find better ways of dealing with it, but we also come to know ourselves in a deeper way. This is how Rumi put it:

“Don’t turn away. Keep your gaze on the bandaged place. That’s where the light enters you.”

The therapy that I offer provides a space where this exploration can happen—safely, confidentially, and without judgment. My role is to help you navigate your thoughts and emotions, especially those that have felt too overwhelming or difficult to acknowledge.

I work primarily in a person-centred way, integrating elements of transpersonal psychology, mindfulness, and meditation when appropriate. I am a registered member of the BACP and adhere to their ethical framework at all times.
