I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor working with adult individuals, including young adults and older adults.
I follow an integrative transpersonal approach, which means drawing on different therapeutic modalities with each person while holding a soulful frame for the work. Allowing space for Soul can bring in questions of meaning and create moments of meeting where you can come to know yourself and what matters to you more deeply.
My aim is to accompany you on a journey towards a sustainable change in your relationship to yourself and what has happened to bring you to therapy. As Marion Woodman said, “If we could allow the pace of our meetings to slow down to the pace of our hearts, we might find genuine understanding.”
I work with a broad range of concerns – from loss and bereavement, anxiety and depression, to relationship issues, shame, identity, sexuality and more generalised feelings of stuckness, confusion or disquiet.
I have a particular interest in trauma and addiction and the lasting impact of addiction in families. Also in the challenges and potentials of transitional times in life (quarter life, midlife and later life)
My Training
I am a registered member of the BACP and hold a Diploma in Integrative Transpersonal Counselling gained at Re-Vision, which is accredited by both BACP and UKCP.
I am committed to expanding my knowledge and experience, attend regular supervision and receive my own therapy in line with the ethical principle of self care.
Fees and contacts
I currently work in person at Hammersmith Therapy Rooms on Wednesday evenings and in Gunnersbury on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings. I also see clients online where preferred or needed.
My fee is £80 per 50-minute session.
